he girls here are great and so are my friends.....the scenery..not so much. The atmosphere can be awesome if in the country though. The job opportunities here in Texas are also far greater than in kauai. If I lived there, I'd be like all of my other friends there that just "go fish" and "go surf"...not that there is nothing wrong with that, and at times, I'd love to just do that and screw trying to succeed. That would be cool at times, but I truly hate seeing how some of my older friend financial situations are over there now days, and I'd hate to see me like that as well. The one main part I don't like in Texas is that there isn't a beach to go to..that took quite some time to get used to..SERIOUSLY, cause in Kauai, that is where I met everyone everyday, escpecially around the time I left Kauai, which was in highschool.....so that is odd at times...there is the lake here though, but eh..no one goes there on a regular basis to hang out, I tried getting people to, but it was lame and gross. Parts are cheap in Texas though, and easily accesible here too, there are also actually things to do at night here..unlike Kauai, where the mall by my house closed at like 4, but i think now they are open till 8 on Friday or something...my grandma told me that on the phone a couple weeks ago, so there is progress. The movie theater also closes early there, and I think there are only three on the island..one near my house, and two kinda farther (island is 30 miles long), but they are all pretty ghetto. The clubs there are cool though..the few there are. I love the familyness feeling I have in Kauai very much and miss that part a lot, much more then here too, but all well, I'll be back to home one day. Everyone else in the family will be moved back there by this February, with me here all by my lonesome getting through college na dgetting more jobs. Texas is growing on me though, that's for sure, and I would love to see what more of the mainland has to offer before I go back to Kauai and just surf, build houses and work as first mate on my buddies tour/ fishing boat..woohoo! Cars also don't rust here and gas is cheaper...that is a majorly good thing right now obviously. Anyways, didn't mean for the post to get so dang long..jeeze my bad...anyways, yea, im going to bed, gotta get up early. ZZZZZzzzzz.....
